Altar Guild – Distribution of the Lord’s Supper takes some prep work and special clean-up! The altar guild helps the Pastor by preparing the bread and wine before services and reverently cleaning the communion vessels after the service and caring for all the altar and sanctuary items that provide for our worship setting. This is a wonderful way to serve in the congregation “behind the scenes.”
Adult Choir – Whether you are soprano, alto, tenor or bass, the choir is happy to have new voices join as they prepare special anthems for Sunday morning worship services. Rehearsals are generally on Wednesday evenings, and the choir sings throughout the year except during the summer months.
Bell Choir – Handbell music edifies our worship at special times throughout the year. No experience necessary! The director of our bell choir will have you up to speed in no time.
Men’s Group – All men of St. Paul, male friends, neighbors, and teens are invited to the monthly Men’s Group breakfast. This breakfast and Bible study generally takes place on the second Saturday of each month. The group also participates in service projects to help those in need. Watch our Facebook page and calendar for information about their upcoming dates and events.
Women’s Guild – Our Women’s Guild at St. Paul welcomes women of all ages and teenage girls, meeting monthly for devotions, service projects, and friendship. Members of the group are also involved in larger LWML* events, where they join other women in the area for spiritual growth, fellowship, and service.
Youth – The youth of our congregation have special opportunities for learning, service, and fun.
Teaching ESL (English as a Second Language) – Members of the congregation reach out to our community to help those who need a hand with English-speaking skills, building friendships along the way. Please consider whether this is an area where you can serve.
Ushers – From welcoming guests as they enter the sanctuary and handing out bulletins to collecting offerings and directing guests toward seats and communion, the ushers serve the congregation during worship with these helpful “behind the scenes” roles. We are always in need of more ushers, so if you’d like to get involved as an usher, let us know here and we’ll get you connected!
Meals for members in Need – When a loved one dies, a baby is born or sickness comes, it’s hard to think about a home-cooked meal for your family, much less yourself. This group is a network of caring members who want to serve their fellow church members by providing meals in times of need. If you’d like to serve in this group, contact us for more information.
Community Groups – As stewards of the buildings and grounds God has provided for our use, St. Paul congregation works to assist community groups who wish to use our facilities outside of Day School and ECC hours.
