“Lutheran Books and Beer” returns on September 24 with Chapter 1 of a new book, Has American Christianity Failed? by Bryan Wolfmueller.
The author asks the question: has American Christianity lost sight of Christ’s finished work? He explores the weaknesses of revivalism, pietism, mysticism, and enthusiasm, then points readers back to the certainty of God’s Word, forgiveness, and the promises of Jesus.
We meet at The Rathskeller in Elkridge, Maryland, usually on the 4th Thursday of each month, to discuss various books of interest. Buy a copy of the book from your favorite retailer, start reading, and join us!
