Preschool Enrollment

St. Paul Lutheran School welcomes students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, athletics, and other school-administered programs.

St. Paul Lutheran follows the Maryland State Department of Education guidelines for the age requirements for entrance into school. Children must be 2 years of age by Setember 1 to enter our program. An informal interview between the child, the parent, and the Early Childhood Director will be conducted prior to admission of a student.

Placement into the ECC program is granted in the following order: St. Paul members, siblings of current students, and others. Opening will be filled on a first come, first serve basis. St. Paul will place children on a waiting list if classes are full. Parents will be contacted according to the date placed on the waiting list when space becomes available.

All necessary forms must be completed and on file prior to the child's first day: Health Form, About My Child, Emergency Card, Lead Screening, Parent Rights Card, and Tuition Agreement. These forms may be accessed below.

A child may be withdrawn from the school with a one-week notice for the following reasons: 1. Non-cooperation 2. excessive delinquency in payment of fees 3. Inability of the child or parent to adjust to school requirements or conduct (i.e, continuing to be late for pick-up)
